Guwahati, : AIUDF chief and MLA Badruddin Ajmal on Tuesday called for the strictest possible action against drug traffickers and addicts, saying he has no objection if those involved in the narcotics trade are encountered by security forces.

 

Addressing the media outside the house, Ajmal alleged that every person linked to the drug network is "a murderer" as narcotics have destroyed countless families and ruined many young lives.

 

Calling the drug menace a grave threat to society, Ajmal said the government should issue a "shoot at sight" order against those involved in drug-related crimes to eradicate the menace from the state.-----------
