Monsoon Fury: Schools Closed Across Six Odisha Districts as Heavy Rain Batters Western Region

In Subarnapur, the District Collector ordered the closure of all schools and colleges following the forecast of very heavy rainfall. Continuous downpours accompanied by thunderstorms have caused waterlogging in several low-lying areas, leading to flood-like conditions. Poor drainage has resulted in water accumulation on the road connecting Jayguru Chowk and Kacheri Square, disrupting normal movement.
