Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi on Tuesday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should raise the matter of the deaths of three Indian sailors with US President Donald Trump.
Prime Minister Modi is currently on a one-week visit to France and Slovakia. He will participate in the outreach session of the G7 Summit in France and is scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with several world leaders.
It is believed that Prime Minister Modi may also meet US President Donald Trump during the summit.When asked about this, Priyanka Gandhi told reporters in the Parliament complex, “I think he should definitely raise this issue (the case of the three Indian sailors killed in the American attack).”
She added, “It is surprising that the government has not spoken openly about what has happened.”
